Connecting-Reconnecting

This installation was shown in the Oude Atelier during Glasrijk Tubbergen 2021.
It was made up of hundreds of earplugs tied together like threads of a web
in which large glass roots were hanging.

The question I like ask with this work is:

Are we still in touch? 
Are we not too caught up in the world wide web?
Are we still rooted or uprooted?
Are we not getting too far from our nature,
do we still feel what is real?
Are we still in contact with the Earth?
Or do we just walking with our heads in the Cloud?
